Upcycled Tablet bean bags
Perfect for those lazy days on the couch, or screen time for the kids without the fuss, simply sit the upcycled polystyrene beanbag on your lap and rest the Ipad on your beanbag to rest your arms. the beanbag is super comfortable and moves with you, making it convenient for you and your kids.
These cute patterned fabrics are all donated offcut fabrics that we receive from our wonderful Upcycle supporters, these fabrics come in the form of decorators sample books or fabrics that people in the area have bought over the years and do not use anymore. We also sometimes get fabrics donated to us from CMT companies that manufacture products.
The inside of the I beanie bag is made from polystyrene that is donated to us in the from of packaging from TVs, laptops, microwaves, Etc. We take the polystyrene break it up into tiny little pieces, this in itself is it’s quite a process it takes quite a while to be scrunched up.
Get custom made one with your specific fabric if you prefer, this usually takes about 14 working days.
As our beautiful beanbags are made by our sewing communities, the funds received from the sale of these items are use in support of our communities and in training more communities to become self sustaining.
