Upcycle South Africa has given the humble glass a new look by applying our creativity to discarded bottles. The awesome nature of glass is that is can be recycled repeatedly though this has a down side in that recycling glass has a net negative energy requirement versus making glass from raw materials. With that in mind Upcycle embarked on working on a process that would allow us to turn bottles into drinking glasses.
These particular ones in are made from Savana bottles but we are not restricted to only these; cut, finished and polished to make these trendy eco-friendly gifts or for use in your home.
