Our Upcycled Fabric Teddy Bears are more than cuddly toys — they are stitched symbols of care, creativity and circular design.

Each teddy bear is handcrafted from reclaimed textile offcuts and donated waste fabrics, carefully selected and sewn together to create a soft, durable companion. Because we work with rescued materials, every bear carries its own personality through a unique blend of colours, prints and textures. No two are ever the same.

Filled with repurposed textile scraps, these bears are made entirely from materials that would otherwise have been discarded. The result is a beautifully imperfect, one-of-a-kind toy that feels good to hold — and even better to give.

Designed for comfort, imaginative play and emotional development, our teddy bears offer children a sense of security while encouraging storytelling, empathy and creative expression. Durable and washable, they are made to be loved for years.

For every 10 teddy bears we produce, we donate one to a child in our community — ensuring comfort reaches where it is needed most.

Climate Impact

Textile waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams globally. By transforming offcut fabrics and scrap textiles into teddy bears, we prevent usable materials from ending up in landfill and reduce the need for virgin textile production.

Manufacturing new fabrics consumes large amounts of water, energy and chemicals. By extending the life of existing materials, we conserve resources, lower carbon emissions and reduce environmental pollution.

Each teddy bear represents fabric rescued, waste diverted and emissions avoided — a small but meaningful step toward a circular economy where materials are kept in use for as long as possible.

Community Impact

At Upcycle, we believe waste can create work and dignity.

Our teddy bears are handmade by our Sewing Ladies as part of our skills development programme. Beyond sewing, our team receives training in climate awareness, entrepreneurship and sustainable production practices.
