Description
These upcycled cooking boxes are cotton bags insulated with polystyrene filling to retain the temperature of the item placed inside. They maintain heat or cold temperatures for up to 6 hours.
They are also called hot boxes, thermal cookers or cooking boxes.
Cooking bags are an amazing energy and resource saving innovation. If you are using it as a slow cooker all you need to do is bring your food in a pot up to the required heat, maintain for 5 minutes and then remove from heat and place into bag, sealing tightly. The food will continue to cook at the same heat for hours. You can also retain cool temperatures.
